Naku, wag sanang bumagyo sa June 17-20, ok lang na may konting pag-ulan sa mga araw na iyan. May lakwatsa kami sa petsang iyan. :-)
Dahil sa epekto ng global warming, first time ko yatang narinig sa mga balita ngayon na masususpinde ang "summer" class dahil sa bagyo.. hahaha
Ano bang latest ngayon? Hmmmm... wala naman. Pacquiao fever pa rin, pero sana nga wala siyang dalang H1N1 virus para hindi ibang "fever" ang maranasan natin. Hehehe..

Kasabay ng mga pag-uulan at ang mga update kay Pacquiao, H1N1 virus, Dionisia (talagang hot item siya sa akin, hehehe) at ang pagli-leave ni Korina sa TV and Radio programs nya, naging super busy ako this week... (Kaya pala hindi ako updated sa mga ito.. hahaha).
The more I get busy, the more late I go to bed... Insomnia ba tawag dito, huh Craig David? Kaya hayun, naa-update ako sa mga latest buzz , gossips at iba pang pakulo sa internet... hahaha...
At dahil Pacman Day na naman ngayon, ibig kong ialay ang entry na ito sa ating Pambansang Kamao, si Manny Pacquiao! Woohoo!
Well, hindi ako fan at hindi ko siya masyadong pupurihin dito.. Hahaha... Though as a Filipino, we shall all be proud of his accomplishments. Ika nga niya, para daw sa atin ang laban na ito! In a way.. hehehe...
Ang gusto ko lang i-share ngayon ay ang impluwensyang idinulot sa akin ng laban na ito sa buong magdamag na pagtutok ko rito.
Una, maraming salamat sa gumawa ng Facebook at Twitter, pati na rin sa Youtube at ang ilang Website na nagbigay ng Free Live Streaming (as in "Live" talaga, kasabay ng PPV) sa laban nina Pacquiao at Hatton.
Na-utilize ko talaga ng todo ang mga ito kanina. Biruin mo, wala akong PPV at hindi ko rin naman tinangkang manood sa mga Malls (approx. P500 yata ang fee) at lumabas pa ng kabahayan, pero eto, Live na Live kong napanood ito just in front of my PC. Binuksan ko pa talaga ang transistor radio ko and tuned in sa DZBB just to make sure na hindi "delayed" ang napapanood ko sa internet. Hahaha... sigurista!
So yun, natapos ang laban pagkatapos ng dalawang rounds. Mahina pala itong si Hatton... Kaya hayan, may nag-comment tuloy na nadismaya si Aling Dionisia dahil naunahan itong mahimatay at ma-knockout. Anyway, kahit nasa Las Vegas itong si Doña Dionisia ay minabuti nya raw na hindi manood sa mismong Arena at sa hotel na lang tumutok. Hintayin ko na lang ang coverage na iyan na I'm sure meron sa channel 7. And speaking of GMA-7's broadcast to this fight, 4 rounds ang ipinalabas nila. Yes, apat na round sa GMA-7 compare sa mga PPV at Live Streaming internet. Why? Kasi ba naman, dalawang beses nila ipinalabas ang 2 rounds. Hahaha.. sayang ang commercial loads. Wala pang tanghali eh natapos na ang laban ni Pacquiao sa PPV at Internet Live Streaming, sa channel 7, siguro naabutan nya pa yung "The Buzz".. Hahaha...
Buong umaga ako nakatutok sa PC ko.. twitter, facebook at yung website na live streaming nga. And in fairness, napa-believe itong si Mariah Carey na nanood ng fight. Updated ako sa mga twitter messages nya habang nanonood siya sa MGM Grand Hotel sa Las Vegas (naka-twitter mobile siguro siya) dahil follower nya ako.
At sa Facebook, dumagsa ang mga updates and comments sa kasagsagan ng laban na ito. One of my friends na si Eph (Ephraim Aguilar) na isang Bicol correspondent sa Philippine Daily Inquirer, has this article na lumabas na sa PDI website. I just want to share to you this... Carey’s entries or “tweets” were announced by her Filipino fans on the social networking website Facebook.
The popular singer said: “This is quite violent.” Another entry read, “I can’t even know what to say.”
Towards the end of the fight, Carey, said Pacquiao was “unbelievable.”
Facebook was filled with shouts on Pacquiao’s victory. Some said those who viewed it on pay-per-view did not get their money’s worth because Hatton “kissed the floor” as early as Round 1 and was knocked out on Round 2.
“Talo! Talo ang mga nanood sa mga malls. Round 2 lang [Losers! Those who watched in malls lost. The match ended in Round 2],” one user said.
Other Facebook users said:
“I feel bad for Hatton. He saw the whole milky way.”
“Asar si Aling Dionisia kasi naunahan siya ni Hatton na himatayin! [Aling Dionisia was irked because Hatton fainted ahead of her].”
“Ano kayang regalo ni Pacquiao kay Aling Dionisia? “Eskenejens? [What would be Pacquiao's gift for Aling Dionisia? Skinny Jeans?]”
Pacquiao’s mother, Dionisia, has fainted on national television several times whenever Pacquiao had a fight.
“Mas matagal pa ang paghahanap ng parking kaysa laban ni Pacman. [It took longer to find a parking space than to watch the Pacman fight].”
"Panalo na naman si Chavit!” [Chavit is again a winner]," referring to former Ilocos Sur governor Luis Chavit Singson, a close supporter of Pacquiao.
“People forgot the H1N1 Virus over Pacman-Hitman fight,” another Facebook user said.

Kain, tulog, tv, facebook, twitter, youtube, chat.... yan ang pinagkaabalahan ko ngayong magdamag. Minsan, ang sarap pala ng feeling na um-absent ka na hindi ine-expect. Hahaha...

The heat is on! Errrr... ang lakas kaya ng ulan sa labas! Summer na summer na nga! Hehehe... I checked the website of PAGASA, may mga inter-tropical convergence zone nga talaga sa buong kapuluan ng Pilipinas. KJ talaga ito para sa mga nasa Bora, Puerto Galera, Pagudpud at sa iba pang magagandang beaches ng ating bansa. :-(
At dahil umulan ngayong hapon, hindi rin daw natuloy ang aming championship game sa volleyball. Buti na lang dahil absent ang kanilang coach ngayon. Hehehe...

What's the Buzz? Sa isang araw na hindi ko pagpasok, naging updated ako sa mga latest news and happenings sa ating kapaligiran.
As I was resting on my bed early this morning, I listened to the radio program of Ted and Korina over DZMM. Ted is absent for the reason that we all know. Na-miss ko ang pakikinig ng radyo tuwing umaga! Back in College, when my class schedule was in the afternoon or early evening, I used to listen to these kinds of radio program in the morning. Ngayon, syempre hindi ko na nagagawa iyon.
Listening to these radio programs kept me updated and "be-the-first-to-know" even before the breaking news were being telecast on TV. Nauuna talaga sa Radyo. Ewan ko lang ngayon dahil mas na-uutilize na ang cellphone, internet and all other electronic gadgets.
I remember, these were the breaking news na I believe, nakauna ako dahil sa radyo:
1] Air Philippines Tragedy - sometime in the year 2000, sa programa ni Mike Enriquez sa DZBB. Mike Enriquez even put his live report on CNN on air over this local station.
2] The death of Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Sin - as far as i know, madaling araw nangyari ito (Philippine Time). At nagkataon, naalimpungatan ako pero bukas ang transistor radio sa tabi ng higaan ko. So yun, I posted immediately on my mobile blog (G-Blog), and then my blogger friends were amazed on the fastness and accuracy of my news blog. Hahaha.. feeling newscaster ako nun.
3] Manny Pacquiao's victory over Erik Morales - naging spoiler pa tuloy ako sa ibang friends ko. Hahaha...
4] Nida Blanca's Shocking death - hindi pa man kumpirmado kung siya nga iyon, nasa radyo na ang news. And then at around 9 AM, I turned on the TV, I saw Pinky Webb in the News Advisory.. eto ang bungad nya.. "Kumpirmado! Si Nida Blanca nga ang natagpuang patay sa Atlanta Tower sa Greenhills San Juan..." Then despite the bad news, may funny moment pa si Anabelle Rama nung tarayan nya yung isang radio field reporter dahil sa kakulitan nito...
5] GMA's Hello Garci Scandal - the taped conversation was first aired over DZMM, sa programang Dos Por Dos nina Anthony Taberna at Jerry Baja. Kasagsagan din ng pagiging active ko sa G-blog, so again, bida na naman ako dahil nauuna akong i-post ang mga latest sa issue na iyon. And before the night that GMA would say "I am sorry..." sa lahat ng national television stations, it was already announced on the radio that she would deliver a very important announcement in the evening.
6] Susan Roces' "Not once, but twice!" - hahaha... Live na Live kong napakinggan ito. Mga alas-diyes ng umaga... habang naglilinis ng kwarto.
Iyan at iba pa. It always reminded me that once in my life, naging adik ako... hahaha.. sa AM radio. (Pati naman sa FM eh, anyway that's another story to tell.)

Hmmmm.... may potential itong sina Perez Hilton at Miss California 2009 who almost grabbed the crown of Miss USA 2009 as she landed 1st Runner-up.
Kanina lang ginanap yung pageant sa US, pero nagsisimula nang kumalat ang mga opinion and debates sa internet dahil sa sagot ng kandidatang ito sa tanong ni Perez Hilton as one of the judges in the pageant. Ang tanong, it goes a little something like this: "Vermont recently became the 4th State to legalize Same Sex Marriage, do you think that every State should pursue this?"
Miss California excerpt answer was.. "In my family, we believe that marriage is only between Man and Woman... no offense to anybody out there but that's how I was raised.."
After the pageant, nag-post kaagad itong si Perez Hilton sa Youtube ng video blog about his opinion on Miss California's answer. Sabi nya.. "Her answer was the worst in pageant history... she's a dumb bitch... she has half a brain... I am so dissapointed, she doesn't inspire and unite.."
Ang nakakatwa pa, kung nagkataon daw na nanalo si Miss California, baka umakyat daw siya ng stage, agawin ang korona at tumakbo palabas.. hahaha.. Ang taray naman nitong Perez na ito.
